The IIIF image interoperability protocol for the enhancement of heritage collections

This discussion will explore the rich possibilities offered by the IIIF image interoperability protocol for the valorization and editorialization of heritage collections. The guests will present the initiatives underway within the Ouvroir laboratory and the Libraries of the Université de Montréal (UdeM) in relation to this protocol:
- Emmanuel Château-Dutier, professor in the Department of Art History at UdeM and head of the Ouvroir
- Émir Chouchane, technological mediation advisor at the Bibliothèque des sciences de l'Université de Montréal
- Martin Sévigny, Director of Technology at the Université de Montréal's Library Department This event organized by l'Ouvroir is part of axis 4 of the Partnership New uses of collections in art museums.
